Originally a photo journalist, Tim Knox has shot famous and extraordinary people for the last twenty years, producing a strong and real visual style based on his reportage roots. His work keenly emphasizes the importance of the emotional transaction of an image. Tim’s images are authentic and clean, whether on location or in studio, with an emphasis on color, form, light, texture, and negative space. He uses photography and video as a mechanism to explore life and look for the feeling on the outside of what is happening within. Tim is based in Brooklyn, New York.
