Daan Brand is a former cartoonist turned commercial and fine-art photographer and director. His work is quirky and illustrative, evidence of his former career. He provides creative solutions with twists in both his still and stop motion work. Humor and dynamics are his weapons of choice in this battle. Whether in highly staged settings or shooting on the fly, Daan searches keenly for the little moment, a twitch in the eye, a little puff of smoke, or an odd grin that will tie the image together and give it an extra glow. He has had numerous exhibitions and won many awards, all while working for famous clients around the world.
